Hard-style Kettlebells Course

Our instructors are advanced kettlebell instructors and strength and conditioning coaches, and we have combined these two areas to bring to you what we feel is a very practical and worthwhile course that can be used in both a studio environment (for group exercise) and as a conditioning tool for personal trainers and strength and conditioning coaches.

We will be mainly focusing on what we feel are the seven most important kettlebell exercises to be able to teach effectively. We will be instructing these exercises to be performed in what is known as ‘Russian Hard Style’; a specific movement and breathing pattern for kettlebell training. It is a safe and highly effective method to achieve good results with participants whilst minimising the risk of injury. We will also be looking at a range of auxiliary exercises that we feel you need to know to be able to effectively use kettlebells as a conditioning tool.

Rather than the American studio style the Russian hardstyle approach to kettlebells gives focus on the form and technique of the hip hinge pattern, which can have great carryover to the major compound lifts. The course will teach you how to use kettlebells for a range of purposes, including strength, conditioning and endurance.
